With a profound commitment to te iwi Māori, Muritere brings to Toi Ngāpuhi a rich background and extensive experience in collaborating with whānau, hapū, iwi, Māori Community Service Providers and Governmental Agencies. She holds a Bachelor of Māori Performing Arts and a Postgraduate Diploma in Teaching, specialising in Te reo me ōna Tikanga, Te Tiriti o Waitangi, He Wakaputanga o te Rangatiratanga o Niu Tireni and Ngāpuhitanga.
Her career is driven by a passion for preserving and promoting ancient Māori customs and values and she is dedicated to shaping a brighter future for Ngāpuhi through the application of traditional principles and teachings.
