Raniera is a world renowned Tā Moko expert with 15+ years’ experience and an accomplished kaiwhakairo (carver) who established Moko Kauri. A champion for te reo o Te Hiku he has served alongside his iwi and community building and strengthening key relationships and sits on several panels within Te Hiku and Tai Tokerau. He is a consultant for the current iwi reo strategy and an advisor to his Rūnanga and various businesses in the North. Raniera is a trained and qualified teacher who has experience in both senior schools and adult learning.
