Making objects is a way of life.
I come from a long line of object makers.
For me I owe it to those who came before me, To take it to another level and set a path for those yet to come...

A Hue Puruhau is a traditional Maori instrument played by blowing across the top with either your mouth or nose.

For me the design is representative of the mauri that flows through all life itself, from the biggest star to the smallest atom.

All my Hue are grown myself and take about six months to mature. Growing through the hotter months and drying for the colder ones and is a slow process that can’t be rushed.
This breed is called Mahanga grown by my people for many years and was also eaten.
