How can u know your future when u don’t know your past? This painting is taking street influences to show the lost feeling of not having the right to know your whakapapa and where you’re from. This is a perspective of getting lost in the streets, so far down that who you are becomes an afterthought, of how lost you can be until you know where your whenua is.
