Ko Te-Whai-Awhi te kawenga mō tōku pakiwaitara. He is the carrier of my stories. Te Whai Awhi swims through the galaxy, carrying the whakapapa and pūrākau of the patterns on his body. He holds the knowledge of the time and place before us.
