REGISTRATIONS FOR 2023'S INTAKE ARE NOW CLOSEDTAI O HĪ TAI O HĀ 2021
The first Tai o Hī Tai o Hā Wānanga Toi Series wrapped up at Ōtiria Marae in June of 2021. We celebrated the journey and achievements of our young, creative leaders with whānau and friends, whakanuia! You can meet our Kāhui taiohi here.
TAI O HĪ TAI O HĀ INTERNSHIP PROGRAMMEThe inaugural Tai o Hī Tai o Hā Wānanga Toi Series was launched in 2021, with a kāhui (cohort) of 16 taiohi between the ages of 14-24 completing the four wānanga. They were introduced to a wealth of pūkenga (experts), ringatoi (artists), mātauranga (knowledge), and momo toi (artforms).
The Internship Programme has been an opportunity for them to further develop relationships, skills and interests by giving them real life experiences. Read more below:
