Debbie is a registered NZILA Landscape Architect with 25 years’ experience. She is panellist on the Christchurch City Council Urban Design panel and manager of the Taiao Portfolio for Ōnuku Rūnanga. Within her role for the Matapopore, her professional expertise, combined with experience working at rūnanga level on a wide range of environmental issues, brings a very considered holistic approach to her work ensuring the day to day management of Matapopore and demonstrates how Māori values and traditional knowledge can be expressed within the built environment.
