KAINGIA TŌ PARA (Part 1)

NZ$0.00

From polystyrene cups to single use plastic water bottles, we produce so much rubbish trying to sustain us when really what we are doing is causing damage to what we need most to survive - te taiao. We must turn instead to our traditional values of kaitiakitanga and practices of mahinga kai, and through this we will thrive. Mahinga kai and kaitiakitanga have been part of my life since I was a tamaiti. I know the importance of upholding these values and knowledge systems especially in the face of climate change and extensive pollution.
